The Intern – ICT supports the ICT department in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems. Your responsibilities may also include troubleshooting issues, providing technical support, organising and maintaining IT resources. You will report to the Senior Manager – ICT.
Responsibilities
Ensure computer systems (hardware/software/connectivity) are in working condition at all times
Assist in administration and maintenance of the company’s technology assets that include but are not limited to software (Symantec Endpoint, Symantec Mail Gateway, Microsoft Exchange, SQL, door access, alarms, CCTVs), workstations (XenDesktop, thin clients), servers (Citrix, VMWare) and telephony systems (Genesys) at the company’s head office and its branches
Assist in managing WSUS and coordinating with the team to ensure all Windows server patches are updated in a timely manner
Assist in configuring, troubleshooting and advisory for the backup environment (Veeam, Unitrends)
Provide installation/configuration/operation support/troubleshooting of VMware, ESXi, vCenter, Citrix, Linux, Windows, Backup and SAN Storage
Responsible for the security and availability of the company’s IT assets
Requirements
Diploma or degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer Engineering
