Executive – Finance (Account Payable)

Role
  • The Executive – Finance (Accounts Payable) will be responsible for Account Payable (AP) cycle from invoice processing to payment in order to ensure that timelines and quality meet the KPIs and targets.
Responsibilities
  • Reviewing and approving invoices for payment based on company policies or procedures
  • Coordinating with other departments such as accounts receivable, accounting, and finance to ensure that all invoices are paid in a timely manner
  • Communicating with vendors regarding any issues with their invoices or accounts receivable balances
  • Creating reports summarizing accounts payable activity across multiple departments or entities
  • Coordinate with banks or other financial institutions regarding delinquent accounts
  • Reviewing and approving purchase orders to ensure that they comply with company policies or procedures.
  • Involve and support the line manager on internal and external audit requests.
  • Collaborate with the other stream and functional support team to ensure that the integrated process is carried out efficiently and effectively.
  • Work together as a team player within the finance department and also with other departments.
  • Assist in Trade shows / Consumer shows, when necessary, i.e., MAS Travel fair, MATTA etc.
  • Any other duties at the discretion of the company.
Requirements
  • Diploma / Advanced Diploma, Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Finance / Accountancy / Banking/Business Studies / Administration / Management
  • Preferably at least 2 years of related working experience.
  • Preferably Executive specializing in Accounting / Auditing or equivalent.
  • Good communication skills in English, Malay or Mandarin language for both spoken and written.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Possesses a growth mindset, demonstrating positivity and proactiveness.
