EXECUTIVE – MICE OPERATIONS

Job Role & Purpose
  • We are seeking a highly motivated Executive – MICE Operations who aspires to become a trusted travel expert for our
    customers. This role is responsible for managing and supporting group travel experiences while delivering excellent
    customer service to achieve business and performance targets
Job Responsibilities
  • Support Sales to manage and prepare all aspects of travel operations including proposal, reservation, ticketing,
    travel coordination and customer support.
  • Assist to organize and control project activities to ensure the project workflow on track and within budget.
  • Assisting sales on flight booking for Group or FIT / reservation, hotel booking, preparation of costing and
    proposals and other ground arrangement for our corporate client.
  • Require issuing and monitor invoicing, collection of outstanding debts and prepare refund requisition for
    customer.
  • Assisting project members with the coordination of resources, equipment and information.
  • Schedule tour guiding assignments.
  • Liaise with vendors and monitor adherence to service level standards.
  • Prepare and report on project progress.
  • Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored.
  • Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives.
  • Support tour groups for both overseas and local travel when required.
  • Safeguard and not to disclose customer (personal and organization) details and our company’s confidential
    information.
  • Ensure that you have billed and chase for payment for outstanding invoices, no credit given unless authorized
    (written) by Head of Department.
  • Assist in Trade shows / Consumer shows when necessary, i.e., MAS Travel fair, MATTA etc.
  • Ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures are adhered to.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the company
Job Requirements
  • Certificate or Diploma in Ticketing / IATA / Travel / Tourism / Hospitality.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in hospitality, service, and/or travel industry.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and listening).
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and a results-oriented person.
  • Growth mindset person – positive, proactive, creative solutions and make continuous improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues independently and propose effective
    solutions.
  • Team collaboration on annual marketing planning processes.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Good interpersonal skills and stress tolerance.
