Intern – PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT 

Role	The Intern – Product Development will be part of the team involving in developing and maintaining a sustainable supplier partnership for the company. Your responsibilities include assisting the Product Development team in building strong supplier relationships, negotiating advantageous and exclusive deals, and conveying emotions and experiences to wow the customers. You will report to the Manager – Experience Development.
Responsibilities	Assist in product design by amplifying product’s USP, creating emotional stories and building product script to obtain competitive pricings and benefits from travel suppliers (Hotels, Cruises, Tours and Destination Management Companies (DMC)). Increase product value by negotiating for exclusive deals and added value items. Brainstorm with supervisor to come out a Wow Combo Package (Foam, Flare & Function) that would meet customer’s wants, is high-quality and marketable. Assist in knowledge sharing & product briefing sessions. Maintain good relationships with hotels, cruises, tours and DMC suppliers.
Requirements	Diploma or Degree in Event Management, General Management, Business Administration, Hospitality and Tourism or related fields. Possess intermediate to advance skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Canvas.    Preferably candidates with tourism or marketing background.  Preference for candidates that can commit for 6 months to the programme.
