SENIOR EXECUTIVE – ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE (FINANCE)

Job Role & Purpose
  • We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Executive – Accounts Receivable to manage end-to-end credit control and collections while delivering excellent support to both internal stakeholders and corporate customers. This role plays an important part in maintaining healthy cash flow, ensuring refund and billing accuracy, and driving continuous improvements across the Accounts Receivable function. The ideal candidate is meticulous, customer-focused, possesses good communication skills, and is passionate about improving existing processes rather than simply maintaining them.
Job Responsibilities Credit Control & Collections:

  •  Manage the Accounts Receivable portfolio to ensure timely collection of outstanding debts.
  • Monitor customer ageing reports and proactively follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Escalate collection issues appropriately and recommend suitable recovery actions when
    necessary.
  • Build positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers to facilitate
    prompt payment while maintaining good customer experience.
  • Prepare and provide accurate weekly collection forecasts and updates for the Treasury Team.

Customer Account Management:

  • Generate and distribute Statements of Account (SOA) to corporate customers on a timely basis.
  • Investigate and resolve invoicing disputes, billing discrepancies, and payment-related enquiries.
  • Work closely with Client Engagement, Operations, and other internal departments to resolve collection issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate customer account records and ensure all transactions are properly documented.

Credit Notes & Refund Processing:

  • Process customer refunds accurately and within agreed SLA and month end close timeline.
  • Review and issue Credit Notes (CN) in accordance with company policies and approval requirements.
  • Ensure all supporting documents are complete and comply with internal governance controls.
  • Maintain proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes.

Process Improvement & Operational Excellence:

  • Continuously review existing Accounts Receivable processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience.
  • Challenge existing practices and recommend practical improvements to eliminate inefficiencies.
  • Support implementation of process improvements.
Job Specification
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, or Finance Operations.
  • Experience handling corporate customer collections is preferred.
  • Experience in shared services or travel industry will be an added advantage
